Our Experience

The price made me hesitant, but I decided to give this HITOP aquarium heater a chance since my old one was on its last legs. After a week of use, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it's working. My 50-gallon tank is heating up nicely, and the temperature has been stable at 78°F, just as I set it.

I particularly appreciate the suction cups for mounting; they're sturdy and easy to adjust. However, I wish there was a way to know if the heater is on or off without opening the tank lid. A small indicator light would've been handy. But overall, at this price point, it's performing surprisingly well.
