I wasn't expecting much at this price point, but the HBTower Step Ladder has proven itself a solid purchase. It's sturdy as hell - I've used it daily for two weeks, from painting ceilings to changing light bulbs, and it hasn't so much as wobbled. The wide anti-slip pedal is a godsend; no more worrying about slipping off while reaching high.

Only minor critique: the locking mechanism could be smoother. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the ladder locked open or closed, but that's a small price to pay for the overall robustness and convenience of this little workhorse. For under fifty bucks, you're getting excellent bang-for-your-buck with this one.
