With a busy household of four and a job that keeps me on my toes, finding time to cook healthy meals can be challenging. That's why I was thrilled when I bought this Hamilton Beach Digital Programmable Rice Cooker & Food Steamer. It's become a game-changer in our kitchen.

First off, I love how versatile it is. Not only does it cook rice perfectly every time, but the steamer basket allows me to whip up veggies or even chicken alongside my rice with minimal effort. The digital controls are user-friendly and make programming ahead of time a breeze. Plus, the delay timer has come in handy on those late-night dinner rushes.

My one minor critique would be that the inner cooking pot could use handles for easier lifting once it's done its job. As it is, I often find myself using oven mitts to prevent burns, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means. Overall, this rice cooker and steamer combo has saved me time, effort, and even cleanup since it's dishwasher-safe! It's definitely earned its spot in our kitchen counter real estate.
