My friend recommended this GoveeLife Freezer Thermometer Alarm after I kept forgetting to check if my freezer was running properly. At $16.99, it seemed like a steal compared to other smart thermometers. Setting it up was a breeze - just pop in the battery and stick it on my freezer door. The display is nice and big, making it easy to see from afar.

I loved how it immediately alerted me through its app when the temperature dropped too low while I was out one day. It saved my ice cream from becoming a puddle! However, the alarm on the device itself could be a tad louder; I missed a couple of alerts because I couldn't hear it over the hum of my appliances.
