I was skeptical at first about these pie weights; I thought they'd be too light to do much good, but I was pleasantly surprised. TheFerraycle pie weights worked just as well as my old lead ones, keeping my crust from puffing up and maintaining a consistent shape throughout baking. They're also much safer than traditional lead weights, which was a big plus for me. However, they are slightly larger than other brands I've used, so they might not fit smaller tart pans perfectly. Overall, though, these pie weights have become my new go-to for blind-baking and I'm glad I gave them a try.
