I was skeptical at first about this budget-friendly coffee maker, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The Elite Gourmet EHC4128 has become my daily brew companion. I like that it's compact and doesn't take up much counter space, which is perfect for my small apartment. The glass carafe is a nice touch too; it keeps coffee hot without the metallic taste you sometimes get with stainless steel ones.

My only minor critique is that the pause-and-serve feature could be more generous with its pausing time. It's still useful for grabbing a quick cup mid-brew, but it doesn't allow much leeway if you're pouring while the coffee's still dripping. Overall, though, this little guy punches well above its price tag.
