Upgraded from my old Porter-Cable planer to this DEWALT beast and what a difference! The 30,000 cuts per minute on the DCP5 are no joke – it's like slicing through butter compared to my previous tool. I love how smooth the brushless motor runs, barely any vibration or noise. It's been a game-changer for me, especially when working with hardwoods like maple and oak.

One minor critique? The dust collection could be better. I still end up with a bit of a mess after each use, but hey, that's true for most planers at this price point. All in all, it's been an excellent addition to my workshop.
