Our Experience

My friend swore by this power inlet box when he mentioned it was perfect for his outdoor work on his generator. After years of hauling my portable generator around without a proper outlet, I finally decided to invest in one myself. I bought the Connecticut Electric EGSPI50 two weeks ago and it's been a game-changer.

First off, let me tell you, setting this up was as easy as pie. It took me just under five minutes from start to finish, which is saying something considering I'm not exactly Mr. DIY around here.



What really impresses me about this box is its rainproof feature. We've had some sudden showers lately, and while I initially worried about the generator getting damaged, it's stayed bone dry inside that little metal shell. It's a relief knowing my tools are protected when I step away for a moment.



My only minor critique would be the positioning of the screws on the backplate. They're slightly too close to the edge for my comfort; I'd prefer they were set back a bit more to prevent any bending or breaking of the screw heads with frequent use. But hey, that's just me being nitpicky.



All in all though, this is a solid piece of kit. It's sturdy, it does exactly what it claims to do, and it's already paid for itself in convenience alone. I wish I'd bought one sooner!
