Not gonna lie, I almost didn't buy this CareLiving BGM101 monitor. The price seemed too good to be true, and I've had my share of expensive, unreliable meters in the past. But after a week with this one? Well, it's not half bad.

First off, it's compact and lightweight - easy to carry around in your pocket or bag. I liked that I could check my levels anytime, anywhere without feeling like I was lugging around a brick. Plus, it has a big, clear display which is great for my aging eyes.



However, there's one minor thing that bugged me: the lancets are a bit too shallow for my taste. They're designed to minimize pain, sure, but sometimes they didn't draw enough blood, especially on those days when my fingers felt like prunes. Not a deal-breaker, though; just something I had to keep in mind.



All in all, this CareLiving monitor has been doing its job without any drama. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done, and at this price? I'm pleasantly surprised.
