Caran d'Ache Classic Neocolor II Water-Soluble Pastels, 10 Colors

Alright, so I've tried a bunch of art supplies, but these Caran d'Ache Neocolor IIs really caught my eye. For starters, they're water-soluble - which is awesome because it lets me blend and shade like a pro, or just wash away mistakes without any fuss.

The colors are vibrant too, not like those chalky alternatives that barely leave a mark. I've been using them for three weeks now, mostly for sketching landscapes, and they're holding up great - no cracking or fading yet.

My only minor gripe? They can be quite soft, so if you press too hard, you'll end up with more pastel on your fingers than on the paper. But hey, that's a small price to pay for such rich hues!
