Our Experience

With a busy household and two artistic kids, finding quality art supplies that can withstand their creativity is no easy task. So, I picked up this Canson Artist Series Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper pad to keep them entertained during our recent lockdown.

I was pleasantly surprised by the paper's texture - it's smooth enough for my kids' budding skills but still offers some tooth for blending pastels. The vibrant colors of the assorted sheets were a hit with them, and I appreciate that they're already colored so no mess from dye transfer.

My only minor critique is that the paper seems to require more layers of pastel than other types we've used, but considering its affordability and durability - it can take quite a beating from my kids' enthusiastic hands - it's a worthy trade-off. Overall, this pad has been a great addition to our art supply collection, keeping my kids engaged and creative for hours on end.
