My friend recommended this blow torch after she made the most amazing crème brûlée at our last girls' night. I finally decided to get one myself when I saw it was under $20. It arrived quickly and looked sturdy enough, though a bit heavier than I expected.

I've been having a blast using it! The adjustable flame is brilliant - I could go from a soft simmer for caramelizing sugars to a powerful torch for searing meringue. It's refillable too, which is great as I'll be using it often now.



My one minor gripe? The lock mechanism took some getting used to. A few times I accidentally triggered the flame while trying to adjust the lock, but once I got the hang of it, it was fine. Overall, this little guy has been a fun and useful addition to my kitchen arsenal!
