I've had Blink cameras at my cabin for many years. I had an old outdoor cam in my driveway, and with all of the great wildlife it picked up I thought I'd get the floodlight to get better pics and videos. The only issue is lack of installation instructions. It functions perfectly. The bonus is the vinyl siding clips. This made install perfect. Great product need to work the above issues
Just got this yesterday, but so far so good. It easily set up with my existing Blink 3 system and was easy to mount. I’ve read the issue with the floodlights and I had the same issue when setting up my current system. For me, it was the plastic piece covering the actual cord that plugs into the camera to keep water out. once I removed that I had no more issues. I bought 4 of these floodlights and ALL of them keep getting disconnected or going offline. The cameras attached continue to work, detect motion, and record. The lights do not come on.Sometimes it is because they say they are "offline" or that the battery might be dead. Neither is the case.
