Basil MIK Adapter Plate, Black

Our Experience

My friend recommended this Basil MIK Adapter Plate when I finally decided to upgrade my bike to a rack system. I'd been putting it off, but after seeing how convenient his set-up was, I thought, "Why not?"

First off, installation was a breeze. Took me about 15 minutes, and that includes the time I spent admiring the sleek black finish – it really does look great on my bike.

The thing I loved most? How sturdy it feels. No rattling or wobbling when I'm riding, even with my heavy pannier bags on. It's made a noticeable difference in my commute.

My only minor critique would be that the bolts could be a bit longer. I had to use some washers to get a snug fit against my rack's mounting points. But hey, that's an easy fix and didn't deter me from giving it four and a half stars.

All in all, this adapter plate has been a fantastic addition to my bike. It's made carrying my gear a whole lot smoother – thanks again for the tip, buddy!
