This product takes two AAA batteries. Used it today to test the ignition coils on my car. The LED Flashed and the beeper responded to the magnetic field inside the coils. I am looking to use it more to better understand the variations in the led and or placing the tester in the best location. Used it on my alternator also and it worked great. The instructions are not the best but you can figure it out. Very happy with it.
Received it and opened it up. Installed batteries and laid on tool table. Hadn’t had a chance to get to project that needed it yet and I walk in there one day and it’s going crazy on the table beeping. Had to remove batteries. With any batteries installed it just beeps like crazy and won’t stop. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the off or on position. Annoying! Refund window closed!! Money wasted!!
