Amazon Echo Auto, Add Alexa to your car, with Alexa+ Early Access

These work well and were easy to setup. They were gifts for my wife. I have them in two of my vehicles and they are dependent on her cell phone Unfortunately, she doesn't always carry her phone or I am in the vehicle by myself and the device starts complaining that it can't establish contact.

This Echo Auto has surpassed my expectations. I have an older Toyota Sienna that does not have bluetooth calling or anything like that. This Echo has really improved the driving experience. I connected it to my Aux In on the radio and now I can make calls with it and play music from either my Amazon Prime account or just tell it to play certain radio stations, podcast, etc. The people I have called say that it works and sounds very good despite my older van not being overly quiet in its old

I left a negative review earlier because nothing I needed this device to do worked at all. Yes, it was good at being a "dumb" Bluetooth receiver if your car doesn't have Bluetooth. (It plays through your car speakers whatever you play on your phone.) And it could control my Alexa devices even away from home. When you haven't had enough if alexa not listening to you and screwing everything up at home, you can now take Amazon's annoying AI with you on the road too! Bought to keep my reminders and calender up to date even on the move. Alexa rarely pays music you ask it too even if you have unlimited plan, so scheduling and reminders is it's best attribute. She still screws up every song you ask her to play or give you the price of eggs when you ask for the weather, but the things alexa does do well,
