Finally replaced my rickety old pull-up bar with this Ally Peaks number, and it's been a game-changer. The width adjustment was super easy - just a matter of sliding the bars into place, no tools needed. That's more than I can say for my last bar, which took forever to assemble.

I've been using it daily for three weeks now, and it's held up great even with my 180 lbs hanging from it. The padding on the bar itself is a nice touch too, really helps with those grueling grip exercises.

My one critique? The door frame protector pads could be a bit thicker to provide extra security when you're going all out. But hey, for $34, this pull-up bar is an absolute steal compared to the alternatives I've tried in the past.
