The price made me hesitate, but I figured at $39.97 it was worth a shot for this 3/16" Brake Line Repair Kit. I'm not usually one to trust budget tools, but after installing them on my old Chevy, I've been impressed. The flaring tool is precise and easy to use, even for someone like me who's not a mechanic by trade. It made quick work of the brake lines, and I felt confident in its durability.

My only minor gripe is that the tube cutter could've been slightly sharper; it took a bit more elbow grease than I'd have liked. But overall, for the price, this kit offers great value.
