Our Experience

The specs of these Stoddard test tube clamps piqued my curiosity given their stainless steel construction and finger grips, promising durability and ease of use in my lab setting. I purchased them to facilitate handling hot or hazardous liquids during my experiments over several weeks.

I found the 6-inch length ideal for securing test tubes without obstruction, while the finger grips provided excellent grip even with gloved hands. My favorite aspect was how quickly I could clamp and unclamp samples one-handed, expediting my workflow considerably.

However, a minor critique would be that the clamps did not always securely hold extra-long test tubes. For these instances, a slightly longer design might have been beneficial. Overall, though, these clamps proved reliable and practical in my routine laboratory tasks.
